“intelligent on the road: data goes mobile.” Under this motto, the initiative “Deutschland - Land der Ideen” and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) award 10 outstanding projects for intelligent mobility in Germany every year. Today, we are winning the Deutscher Mobilitätspreis 2021 (German Mobility Award 2021) with the MIA Mobility Engine. The MIA Mobility Engine is used by mobility companies and cities throughout Germany to derive important insights from fleet and movement data that support project managers in their decision-making. Customers and users of the platform appreciate the high level of data protection and modularity that the platform brings.
This year's motto of the Deutscher Mobilitätspreis 2021 is “intelligent on the road: data goes mobile.” The organizers, consisting of the initative “Deutschland - Land der Ideen” and the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, are looking for projects that show how sharing, exchanging and refining data from a wide variety of sources can create innovative mobility offerings. Since 2016, the annual competition has provided a stage for mobility-related projects. The goal of the competition is to highlight the opportunities of digitization for tomorrow's mobility. According to organizers, the 2021 winners combine the virtual and real worlds to create a perfect symbiosis for tomorrow's mobility.
The MIA Mobility Engine is a software-as-a-service data analytics platform for mobility companies and city governments. Mobility data, such as that from bikes, e-scooters, cars or buses, can be easily fed in by cities and companies and generate added value in real time for the company or municipality through existing or customized analytics modules.
